Lake Sils, Switzerland


Lake Sils is a freshwater lake in the Higher Engadine valley, Grisons, Switzerland. It renowned its name from the village of Sils im Engadin. The lake positioned at an altitude of 1,797 metres over sea level, between Maloja Pass and Lake Silvaplana. It is overlooked by numerous mountains over 3,000 metres, notably Piz Corvatsch, Piz Grevasalvas and Piz da la Margna. Lake Sils drainage basin ends at Piz Fora (3,336 m) and comprises the Vadrec da Fedoz glacier.


Locals and tourists from all over the world known Sils a place of energy and power, and as a good source: mainly high “Bovis” values were measured here. The greatest requirements to charge ones batteries for the daily grind.
